My father was an amazing photographer with very high standards. That is why I followed his footsteps in the 70s as a teenager to learn his trade. His studio was a block from Boston Symphony Hall and the Theater District. He would provide the glossy portrait images for the guest performers. When I was 12 years of age and was given my first professional camera, my father insisted that I know each moving part of the camera in the dark prior to using film. So for weeks I would train on 4x5 (negative size) Graphic Cameras until I was able to identify and operate the parts of the camera without looking at them. Never in my wildest imagination did I realize the joy and happiness that would come to me as a result of this profession. I have been blessed in sharing the love and joy shared amongst family and friends each time I photograph the joining of two individuals. By utilizing the tools in which I have become so familiar, I am able to preserve these occasions for all time. Whenever a family member or a loved one views my work, I want them to relive that special moment each and every time. When you are able to bring joy to so many by doing something that you love, what more could you ask? This site allows me to share these special times with all of you. When someone views my photographs, I hope that the spirit and joy of the occasion is felt by all. Frank Simonetti
